Youth and Children Sunday School Classes

Preschool: 3 to 5 years old

Teachers: Carol Colby and Dawn Bastin

We're using materials from I Live B.I.G. (Belief In God). We meet in the chapel for a brief time of fun and music then join the K-2 class for more music and a video. Following this we go to our own classroom and work on a take-home project and other activities that reinforce the lesson learned on the video.

Kindergarten through 2nd Grade

Teachers: Shirley Gawith and Lisa Larson

This class will also be using the I Live B.I.G. (Belief In God) materials. We begin in the chapel for music and then join the 3-5 year old class for fun, music and a video. After this we will go to our own classroom and continue with activities that follow the lesson for the day.

3rd through 5th Grade

Teachers: Barb Karlin and Bill Voll

This class uses Gospel Light materials to learn more about God, His Word, and His Son, Jesus.

Middle School: 6th through 8th Grade

Teacher: Scott Darling

A new curriculum starts this fall; “Christ, The Life of Christ – The Basis of Faith”. No one in history has affected so many others. There’s even a journal available to track your journey.

High School: 9th through 12th Grade

Teacher: Kevin Hazelton

There were many named Jesus…but there is only one Christ. This class also uses “Christ, The Life of Christ – The Basis of Faith”, however, the materials are age appropriate. Journals are available.

Adult Sunday School Classes

This class uses the Judson Bible Journeys for Adults (quarterly Bible study materials).

This class is currently studying "The Purpose Driven Life" (Warren).

In Touch

Adult Ladies: American Baptist Women's Ministries

1st Thursday of each month

Our ladies meet in homes to share a meal and discuss ways to keep "in touch" with those who have special needs or concerns. Current ABWM president is JoAnn Karber.

The men meet at local restaurants for a meal and a time of fellowship and discussion.

Our senior adults (55 & over - but we never check ID's!) meet once a month at different locations for a great time of fellowship.

Prayer Team

Book Club

This group is for all book lovers! We meet once a month (usually the 2nd Thursday) to discuss the book that we have chosen to read and to make our next selection. It's a great time of sharing a common interest, fellowship and refreshments! Leaders are Barbara Harmon and Vicki Robidou.
